(Ashfield, MA) The Belding Memorial Library in Ashfield will be getting new accessibility upgrades after the town received a $20,000 grant from the American Library Association. The library was one of over 200 across the United States selected as part of Libraries Transforming Communities: Accessible Small and Rural Communities initiative. The town will be holding a community meeting on July 17th at the Shelburne Falls Senior Center to hear from community members on what accessibility improvements would benefit them.
