BOSTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Campbell issued guidelines in response to the end of a policy that limited ICE’s ability to make arrests at or near schools and other sensitive locations.

According to the AG’s Office, schools should not share student information with third parties, including ICE, without consent from a parent or guardian and if ICE attempts to remove a student from a classroom, schools should obtain consent from a parent or guardian or confirm a valid judicial warrant.
