AMHERST, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — On Tuesday, July 29th the Amherst-Pelham Regional School Committee will be entering Executive Session during their meeting, following the announcement of former guidance counselor Delinda Dykes’ arbitrator-ordered reinstatement to the school.
A group gathered outside of the School Committee meeting on July 23rd at Amherst Regional High School to protest the Dykes’ reinstatement to Amherst Middle School where she and other counselors were accused of harassing gay and trans students in 2023.
