(Amherst, MA) — You will soon not be able to smoke in any motel or hotel room in the town of Amherst. The Amherst Board of Health has approved updated tobacco regulations which ban smoking in all hotel, motel, inn and bed and breakfast rooms, without exception. In addition, the new regs call for smoking to be banned in any used for ride-sharing services. The regulations take effect July first.
