Area Companies Create Innovative School Bus Disinfecting System For 2020 School Year

(Gill, MA) A family owned school transportation provider in Gill is the first and only transportation service to use a new system designed for disinfecting buses during COVID-19. F. M. Kuzmeskus Inc. has partnered with Fog Nozzle Inc, a Greenfield based company, to develop a system that would meet EPA and CDC approved disinfecting guidelines for interior disinfection of the more than 100 school buses. More than a dozen schools in Western Massachusetts will benefit from the new technology once schools resume in person learning. The Bete Fast PASS system was specifically designed to eliminate human error in applying disinfectant spray. Buses are treated in under three minutes using the new system with high pressure nozzles and air compression.
