ATHOL, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Five Orange firefighters assisted in containing a structure fire on Batchelder Road in Athol Friday evening. The fire broke out around 6:55 p.m. and mutual aid was called in from Erving, Orange, New Salem, and Northfield fire departments. The residence sustained interior and exterior damage from the fire.
