(Ashfield, MA) — Ashfield has its first-ever full-time fire chief. Kyle Walker replaces former Fire Chief Del Haskins, who retired on June 30 after 47 years of service. Walker has been with the Ashfield department for 22 years, and is a native of that town. He is the first full-time chief, a position created during the most recent Ashfield Annual Town Meeting.
