Athol Police Stepping Up for Kids During Pandemic

(ATHOL MA) – The Athol Police Department is asking parents who’s children have birthdays during the COVID-19  pandemic to contact them for a possible birthday parade drive-by. Any parents wishing to request a parade should send Athol PD a message with an ideal date and time, and the police department will do their best to meet the request.

“We realize that some kiddos might be missing out on celebrating their birthdays with their friends and family,” the Athol PD said in a recent statement. The hope is that the parades will help to brighten children’s day during the time of the pandemic.
