(Athol, MA) — An Athol marijuana-growing facility has been sold. Property records indicate that the grow facility located in the former Union Twist Drilling factory has been sold to a San Diego real estate firm for close to $27 million dollars. Officials at Innovative Industrial Properties say they plan to spend an additional $20 million dollars to renovate the Chestnut Hill Avenue site, which has an assessed value of $1-point-1 million.
