ATHOL, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Athol Selectboard is considering two different amounts for a Proposition 2 1/2 override at the next Annual Town Election on April 6th.
The higher amount, approximately $2.5 million, would maintain staffing and services with three additional hires. The lower amount for an override would maintain services without additional hires.
The Selectboard will meet on February 26th at 5 p.m. to discuss which option they will put forward on the ballot.
