(Combined Sources) The Athol Selectboard is looking to improve lighting in the downtown area. The board held a hearing last week to gather information on capturing funding for the lighting project. Money that was not used from a Fiscal Year 2019 block grant is a possibility. $73,000 left over could purchase 35 LED streetlamps. The selectboard approved use of the left over funds for the project.
