ATHOL, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Athol’s historic Pequoig House and former hotel is being renovated into 53 affordable senior housing units, a project estimated to cost $5.5 million.
Recently, the project was awarded an $850,000 grant to drive down the cost of the renovations, which are set to begin in 2027.
