(Athol, MA) — Some residents in the town of Orange will soon be paying more for their drinking water. The Athol Selectboard has approved a hike in water rates for non-Athol customers after it was learned that Orange may be profiting from water Athol provides to households in the Tully section of Orange. The rate hike is expected to impact about 46 customers in Orange.
