ATHOL, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Athol’s Water Division has been recognized by the Department of Environmental Protection for “noteworthy performance” and operating without any regulatory violation in the previous five years. The DEP also considers consumer confidence when determining award eligibility, something Athol DPW Director Dick Kilhart says the residents of Athol show with their support for the department.
