BOSTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell, along with 16 Attorneys General, is suing the ATF, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, over plans to redistribute thousands of machine-gun conversion devices across the country.
The devices, Forced Reset Triggers, increase a firearm’s rate of fire and are illegal under federal law, although an agreement was signed under directive from the Trump Administration to stop enforcing the federal law.
