WHATELY, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — An ATV operator was transported to the hospital Wednesday night after allegedly trespassing and crashing on a snowmobile trail in Whately.
The Whately Fire and Police Departments as well as Mass Environmental Police and South County EMS all responded to the call on North Street.
As a result of the incident, officials are reminding the public that snowmobile trails are open only during the snow season and at the discretion of the private property owners.
