(Carlisle, MA) Governor Charlie Baker visited the Carlisle Public Schools earlier today. In a press conference held at the school, Baker once again emphasized in-person learning during COVID-19. Baker once again said that the data is in favor of in-person learning, and that COVID-19 does not spread in an in-person learning environment. Baker talked about his experience sitting in an Algebra class at the school. He said that he appreciates the willingness of the school system to open up their doors so his team could look at how the state’s elementary and secondary education guidelines are being applied.

“At the end of the day in many cases it’s going to be up to places like this to figure out how to fit those guidelines into the way business gets done,” said Baker.
