(Massachusetts) Lawmakers in Massachusetts are hoping Governor Charlie Baker will attend next week’s oversight meeting to review the skyrocketing COVID-19 cases in Massachusetts. Governor Baker has been criticized by lawmakers regarding his response this time around to the surging COVID-19 cases in the Commonwealth. An invitation to the meeting was sent Wednesday by Joint Committee on COVID-19 and Emergency Preparedness Co-chairs Sen. Jo Comerford who serves the Worcester, Franklin, and Hampshire districts and Representative William Driscoll who represents the seventh Norfolk District. Baker was asked to be prepared to answer questions regarding the COVID-19 response in Massachusetts.
