(undated) – There are 1,000 fewer state workers today, thanks largely to Governor Baker’s edict regarding COVID 19 vaccinations. The State House News Service reports that 1,000 of the 41,000 employees of the government’s executive branch have either been fired or chose to leave their positions rather than comply with Baker’s executive order that they be vaccinated against COVID 19 by a mid-October deadline.
