Baystate Franklin OK After Yet Another Water Main Break

(Greenfield, MA) The City of Greenfield suffered yet another water main break today in the area of Vernon Street. According to Baystate Franklin Medical Center spokeswoman Anita Fritz, water was restored to the hospital at 7:15am and the hospital continued to run under normal conditions. The water main broke around 5am Monday morning. Greenfield has suffered a series of water main breaks this summer that have caused water and power outages around the city.
