Belchertown Man Ordered Held Without Bail In Connection With Shooting

(Belchertown, MA) — An 18-year-old Belchertown man has been ordered held without bail after pleading not guilty in connection with a shooting in that town. The Northwestern District Attorney’s Office says Ixandrian Aponte shot two people during a marijuana transaction on Shae Avenue in November of last year. Aponte will remain in custody pending an April 2nd dangerousness hearing.
