Staff Report
(Bernardston, MA) The free COVID test kits that Bernardston had to give out on Saturday did not last long. The town had 110 test kits and let residents know that the distribution would happen on Saturday at 10AM at town hall. Vehicles started lining up in the 9AM hour and the Bernardston Board of Health decided to begin the distribution at 9:45. All 110 test kits were gone by 10:05.
It is not known when the town will receive more. Beginning this past Saturday, insurance companies are required to reimburse up to eight at-home COVID-19 tests per month to those that purchase them from drug stores.
