(Bernardston, MA) The Bernardston police are warning drivers about the dangers of not removing the snow from a vehicle. According to the department, a snow covered vehicle was observed passing in the snow. The driver of the vehicle was unable to see police trying to stop the car, and inadvertently fled from officers by traveling at a rate of speed of 74mph. When officers finally stopped the vehicle, they learned the driver was unable to see their lights flashing and was unaware that officers were attempting to make a stop. Had the driver not stopped, deflation devices would have been employed.
