(Bernardston, MA) The Bernardston Police Department is warning of yet another scam. According to Bernardston Police, recently a resident received a phone call about her Amazon account being hacked. The caller reportedly convinced the resident to send her $10,000 in cash. A UPS employee picked up on the scam and notified police, which saved the resident the loss of $10,o00.
“If you ever feel something isn’t right, please call your local law enforcement agency and report,” said the Bernardston Police Department in a social media post.
