Big Brothers Big Sisters Teams With Local Radio Station

(April 21,2020) – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Franklin County teamed up with Bear Country radio for a “honk and wave” parade at Buckley Health Care Center in Greenfield. For one hour, listeners of Bear Country were encouraged to drive by Buckley, honk and wave to the residents of the center in an attempt to brighten their day. Greenfield police and fire also made an appearance with lights and sirens going as they passed by. BBBS and Bear Country will stage another “honk and wave” parade on Friday, April 24th, from 10:30-11:30 am at Charlene Manor on Colrain Road in Greenfield.
