(Boston, MA) Senator Jo Comerford and Representative Natalie Blais have filed bills that seek new avenues for funding assistance through a municipal and public safety building authority. The authority would be funded by a third of the marijuana sales tax collected and at least 10% of the funds would be designated for rural towns and cities who are struggling to afford necessary projects in their public safety departments.
