Body found in Easthampton; D.A.’s office investigating

EASTHAMPTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Northwest District Attorney’s Office is investigating the discovery of a body in Easthampton. Officials say the body was found near the Connecticut River and Mannheim River in Easthampton.

A spokesperson for the DA’s office said the death is not suspicious and that foul play is not suspected. The identity of the deceased has not been released.
