NORTHAMPTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Tuesday afternoon a body was recovered from the shoreline of the Connecticut River in Northampton. First responders were dispatched to the area of Shepherds Island and Middle Meadow Road after reports came in of an individual being seen. The Chief Medical Examiner has not yet confirmed the identity or cause of death, although he is believed to be Jonathon Maxwell of Connecticut, reported missing on Saturday, July 11th.
