Brush fire takes out Colrain family’s woodshed

COLRAIN, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — A brush fire took out a family’s woodshed at 83 Archambo Road in Colrain Saturday. The 1st alarm fire was reported at 3:22 p.m. Saturday with the fire fully engulfing the woodshed and quickly spreading downhill.

Mutual aid was provided by at least 10 area fire departments and the fire was contained by 6:30 p.m. A family friend has started a GoFundMe to help replace the wood lost in the fire and community members are also collecting donated firewood for the family.
