Colrain Fire Responds To Vehicle Accident, Brush Fire On Vermont Border

(Colrain, MA) Yesterday afternoon at about 12:30 p.m. Colrain Fire, Ambulance and Police responded to a two car multi-vehicle accident on South Green River Road. There were injuries and one person was transported to the hospital. 

Then, minutes later, Colrain Fire was called to a large brush fire just over the border in Halifax, Vermont on Route 112. Multiple Franklin County emergency service departments were also called to aid in fighting this fire including Leyden, Shelburne, Greenfield, Bernardston, Charlemont, and Conway.
