(Buckland, MA) The town of Buckland has two significant positions that are not filled. Zachary Taylor, the Buckland Selectboard Chair announced his resignation after moving to Charlemont. He was half-way through his term. Also, Highway Superintendent Jeremy Purington announced his resignation last week at the Selectboard meeting. Purington will be taking a job in the private sector. The Selectboard will now be deciding whether to have special town election to fill Taylor’s seat or to wait until the annual election this May.
