(National) The Center for Disease Control has released guidelines for travel during the COVID-19 pandemic. The CDC urges travelers to consider whether COVID-19 is spreading in either the area they are traveling to or the area they are traveling from. Older adults and those at higher risk for contracting COVID-19 should consider the consequences of travel during this time and any persons in close contact with those individuals should also consider possible infection when they return. There are also quarantine requirements in some states for anyone traveling in and out that can last up to 14 days. Social distancing measures, like good hand washing, wearing a face covering, and avoiding close contact with others are highly recommended. For more information on CDC recommendations click here.
