(Charlemont, MA) — The town of Charlemont is looking to expand its government operations. Charlemont annual town meeting voters recently approved a warrant article directing the selectboard to hire a new town administrator. The position has been vacant since 2019, and there had been some debate as to whether a new administrator should be hired.
