CHARLEMONT, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — In an effort to increase public safety and improve response time in the case of emergencies, the Charlemont fire department is selling visible street signs.
The reflective address markers make it easier for emergency responders to locate addresses quickly and accurately, even in low light or smoky conditions, which is critical in rural conditions where response times can be elongated.
