ATHOL, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The double bridges on Chestnut Hill Avenue are closed indefinitely after a small piece of the temporary bridge fell through.
An engineer from the Massachusetts Department of Transportation is expected to perform an evaluation to determine whether or not the bridge may be reopened to traffic.
