(Montague, MA) — It’ll feel like Christmas this weekend for river lovers in Gill and Montague. The Franklin County Boat Club will hold its “Christmas on the River” celebration in the stretch of the Connecticut River between Barton Cove and the Gill-Montague Bridge. A day full of activities begins at 11 am Saturday and includes a 6pm dinner followed by a lighted boat parade past Unity Park at dusk followed by fireworks over the river.
