GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Greenfield City Council voted to approve both Zoning Amendments on the agenda at Wednesday’s meeting.

One amendment removes the city-wide hard cap on housing projects above 24 units, the second amendment would allow multi-family dwellings up to 24 units by right in the Semi-residential zone and projects above 24 units would require a Special Permit.

Neither of the amendments changed other aspects of zoning and building requirements that would regulate projects.
