COLRAIN, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Colrain Planning Board is proposing revisions to the town’s solar bylaws for residents to vote on in the upcoming Annual Town Meeting on June 4th. On April 10th, the Board approved changes addressing public safety and utility interconnection and site plan review requirements. These proposed changes come after the town has collaborated with the UMass Clean Energy Extension group on solar development in town and completed a community solar survey.
