COLRAIN, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Residents of Colrain had a 6th question to vote on; whether or not the town should adopt the Community Preservation Act which would raise local funds, up to a 3% surcharge on property taxes to fund open space, recreation, historical, and housing projects. According to the town’s unofficial election results, the question was voted down 573 to 395.
