BUCKLAND, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Next Tuesday, February 25th will be the first of six community meetings to discuss the findings of the sustainability study for the future of the Mohawk and Hawlemont school districts.
The study identified five models to analyze and address the issues of declining enrollment, declining state funding, increasing operation and capital expenses, with an aging population. The meeting will be held at the Buckland-Shelburne Elementary School and also via Zoom, beginning at 6:30 pm.
