(Greenfield, MA) The Greenfield Community Preservation Committee heard from three of the potential applicants for the 2022-2023 Community Preservation Act funding cycle. In the September 22nd CPC meeting, they reviewed pre-applications from Clinical Support Options, the Franklin County Agricultural Society, and the Greenfield Tennis Association.
CSO is seeking funds to support rehabilitating a Wells Street building to increase shelter beds, add office space, and a kitchen area. The Franklin County Agricultural Society is hoping to repair the roofing on some of the cattle and sheep barns. And the Greenfield Tennis Association wants to replace a drinking water fountain near the tennis courts at Highland Park.
The Community Preservation Committee has $335,000 to allocate to projects and pre-applications to determine eligibility are due by September 30th. Application and funding details can be found here.
