GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Reports came in of an individual floating in the Connecticut River Wednesday afternoon. First responders were dispatched to 148 Montague City Road in Greenfield where they used a boat to recover the adult male who was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office. No foul play is suspected, and the matter remains under investigation.
