ORANGE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — At Wednesday’s Orange Selectboard meeting, the $3.6 million construction contract for a water tower at the Orange Industrial Park was unanimously approved.
Earlier that day, $790,000 was given to the town for the project by Seaman Paper which is currently paying high insurance costs for insufficient water to the building, Nearly $2 million in ARPA funds have been committed to the project.
Orange residents have approved the acquisition of land for the project at a recent Special Town Meeting.
