(Conway, MA)  – The future of its police department is under discussion in the town of Conway. The Conway Selectboard held a preliminary discussion this week about the department’s future in the wake of new state regulations which could financially impact smaller departments. Conway resident and Deerfield Police Sergeant Jennifer Bartak suggested options like expanding the current department or regionalizing forces with other neighboring towns. No final decisions have been made as yet.
