The Arthur A Smith covered bridge in Colrain will be open to vehicular traffic soon. The span has not been open since the 1980’s. It underwent a restoration in 2007 but did not reopen for traffic. The bridge, on Lyonsville Road, will be back open once height and weight limit signs are posted by the town. The Selectboard in Colrain voted to open the bridge at their last meeting in August.
