(Hatfield, MA) — A recent spike in COVID 19 cases has been reported at Hatfield Elementary School. Parents were notified by school officials late last week that multiple confirmed COVID cases have been reported across a number of grade levels in the school. Increased COVID testing is set to be conducted this week with the help of members of the National Guard. Hatfield does not have a mask mandate in place, but the state requires all public school students to wear masks indoors at school. Hatfield students will also be required to wear masks outside at recess and when playing in groups.
