(Whately, MA) A new marijuana cultivation facility will be built soon on Christian Lane in Whately. On Tuesday, the Whately Planning Board approved the Greenjeans Farms plans as the first craft marijuana cooperative in the state. Construction on the property at 149 Christian Lane is expected to begin this summer and the facility hopes to be operational by the end of this year. Greenjeans Farms agreed to different landscape screening at the request of the planning board before receiving their approval.
