(Boston, MA) CVS Pharmacy will be paying $6.15 million in a lawsuit settlement where they were accused of failing to follow prescription pricing regulations, specifically to prevent overcharges in workers’ compensation. The Massachusetts Attorney General’s office identified pharmacy locations across the state with alleged failures in prescription pricing. As part of the settlement CVS will look to improve the state workers compensation billing system and set in place procedures to prevent overcharges.
