Change in top leadership at the Northwestern DA’s office

Northwestern District Attorney’s Office Chief Financial Officer Donna Dudkiewicz is retiring this summer after working in the office for 39 years. Her last day is June 30.

Assuming the CFO position is Jennifer Perreault, who for the past 15 years served as comtroller, CFO and contract manager at ServiceNet, one of the largest human services non-profits in the region.

Dudkiewicz, a resident of Hadley, worked under four consecutive Northwestern District Attorneys, starting with former District Attorney W. Michael Ryan (1983-1988), who hired her in 1986 as the fiscal affairs coordinator for the office. She was named CFO in 1988.

She stayed on in the fiscal unit under the tenures of former District Attorneys Judd Carhart (1988-1993) and Elizabeth Scheibel (1993-2011). She continued on with current District Attorney David E. Sullivan as part of his senior management team. Other members of the senior management team include First Assistant District Attorney Steven Gagne, Deputy District

Attorney Jennifer Suhl and Director of Operations Martha Murphy Kane. District Attorney Sullivan this week commended Dudkiewicz for her stalwart service to the office and the Commonwealth.

“For nearly four decades, Donna Dudkiewicz has kept our Northwestern DA office on the right track. Donna is the best example of a smart, dedicated and caring public servant,” said District Attorney Sullivan. “We will all miss her as she starts her new chapter in retirement.”

Jennifer Perreault has been working with Dudkiewicz this month as she prepares to take the helm to manage the office’s $10.8 million budget. The Northwestern District includes all 47 communities in Hampshire and Franklin counties as well as the town of Athol.

Prior to her work at ServiceNet, Perreault was employed at Crocker Communications, a family-owned business in the Valley. She grew up in Greenfield and now lives in South Deerfield with her husband and two sons.
