DCR Holding 102 Events For Families During February Vacation

(Turners Falls, MA) The state Department of Recreation and Conservation has announced 102 family events across 22 state parks over the next week while students are on vacation to keep kids learning and building connections with the environment, many of which are free. In Franklin County, the Great Falls Discovery Center will be participating with seven events throughout the week including tracking animals in the snow, a food co-op documentary showing, and learning about the process of making maple syrup.
